Governing Board

The five individuals on our school board are elected community members who volunteer their time for the benefit of our school district and the students who attend our schools. They assist the district in planning, budgeting, and implementing school programs and help ensure fiscal responsibility.

Board members are elected biannually in November to serve for overlapping two- and four-year terms. Candidates do not represent a specific geographical area but run at-large. Every January, the board elects a president to serve for a one-year term.

We value the input of our community and invite you to provide your comments regarding the items open for review. We meet on the second Thursday of every month at 5:30 p.m., unless otherwise noted, in the district office board room.

To comment, please complete a “Call to the Public” form and hand it to the district secretary prior to the start of the meeting, or you are welcome to email it to us.

If you can’t make it in person, our meetings are live-streamed and archived on our district YouTube channel. Virtual attendees must submit comments by email prior to our meetings.
