District Committees
The school governing board encourages employees to participate in the decision making for the district. The superintendent establishes such committees as necessary to recommend policies and regulations that will enhance the operation of the district.
Recommendations of such committees cannot be binding on the school governing board; they may be advisory only. Each committee has the specific purpose of making a recommendation concerning a decision to be made or considered or a course of conduct to be taken. These committees will be responsible for presenting to the school governing board recommendations for action based on research and facts.
Each committee is considered a subcommittee of the public body and is subject to the conditions of Arizona’s Open Meeting Law. All meetings will be open for public attendance.
