COVID Response

As we continue to deal with coronavirus throughout our nation, we will be relying on the advice of the Mohave County Department of Public Health (MCDPH) and the Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) for updated cleaning and hygiene protocols, as well as procedures for managing positive cases among our students and staff.

We are in this together, and together we will come out stronger because of it.

COVID Symptoms

People with COVID-19 have had a wide range of symptoms ranging from mild to severe—many of which mimic cold and flu symptoms. According to the CDC, symptoms may appear 2 to 14 days after exposure and include the following:

  • Fever or chills
  • Cough/sore throat
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • Fatigue
  • Muscle or body aches
  • Headache
  • New loss of taste or smell
  • Congestion or runny nose
  • Nausea or vomiting
  • Diarrhea

If your child displays any of these symptoms, keep him/her at home and monitor the symptoms. After testing negative, or being symptom-free for 24 hours, without the aid of medication, you may send your child back to school.
